Terms and Conditions

§ 1 Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts between Jungle Retreat Society LLC, Musterstraße 1, 11111 Musterstadt (hereinafter "Provider") and the customer (hereinafter "Participant") regarding the booking and participation in retreat programs. Deviating conditions of the participant are not recognized unless the provider expressly agrees to their validity in writing.

§ 2 Conclusion of Contract

(1) The presentation of retreat programs on our website does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to submit a booking request.

(2) By submitting a booking request, the participant makes a binding offer to conclude a contract.

(3) The contract is concluded when the provider accepts the booking by sending a booking confirmation by email. Upon receipt of the booking confirmation by the participant, the contract is bindingly concluded.

§ 3 Prices and Payment

(1) The prices stated on the website at the time of booking apply. All prices include statutory VAT.

(2) A deposit of 20% of the total price is due upon booking. The remaining payment must be made no later than 30 days before the start of the retreat.

(3) Payment can be made by bank transfer or via the online payment methods offered.

§ 4 Scope of Services

(1) The scope of services results from the respective program description on the website and the booking confirmation.

(2) The price includes: accommodation, all meals, training sessions, yoga and meditation classes, spa treatments and scheduled excursions as per the program description.

(3) Not included in the price: flights, airport transfers (available on request for an additional fee), personal expenses, travel insurance and activities not included in the program.

§ 5 Cancellation and Withdrawal

(1) The participant may withdraw from the contract at any time before the start of the retreat. Withdrawal must be made in writing by email.

(2) The following regulations apply to cancellations:

• Up to 60 days before start: Full refund
• 30-60 days before start: 50% refund
• Less than 30 days before start: No refund, but rebooking to another date possible

(3) The provider reserves the right to cancel a retreat due to insufficient number of participants or force majeure. In this case, the full amount will be refunded.

§ 6 Health and Personal Responsibility

(1) The participant confirms that they are physically and mentally capable of participating in the offered activities.

(2) Existing health restrictions, injuries or illnesses must be communicated before the start of the retreat.

(3) Participation in all activities is at your own risk. The provider is not liable for injuries resulting from improper execution or disregard of instructions.

§ 7 Liability

(1) The provider is liable without limitation for damages resulting from injury to life, body or health based on an intentional or negligent breach of duty.

(2) For other damages, the provider is only liable for intent and gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is excluded unless essential contractual obligations are violated.

§ 8 Insurance

The participant is responsible for obtaining adequate travel and health insurance. We strongly recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance as well as international health insurance with repatriation.

§ 9 Data Protection

The collection and processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with our privacy policy, which can be viewed under the "Privacy" menu item on our website.

§ 10 Final Provisions

(1) The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

(2) The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is, to the extent permitted by law, the registered office of the provider.

(3) Should individual provisions of these GTC be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
